01. Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist?
No, you can book directly with us. Physiotherapists are first-contact practitioners, meaning you don’t need a referral from your GP to start treatment at ROOT.
02. How many sessions will I need?
This depends on the condition and how long you’ve been dealing with it. Some people feel significant improvement after just two or three sessions, while more complex or long-standing issues may need a longer course of treatment. We’ll give you a realistic estimate after your first assessment.
03. What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement works best, particularly if we’re assessing your back, shoulders or hips. Shorts and a t-shirt are ideal for most appointments.
04. Is physiotherapy covered by insurance?
Many private health insurance providers cover physiotherapy, though this varies by policy.
